EFFECTIVE NOVEMBER 10, 2026, THE USE, AS WELL AS THE STORAGE/PLACEMENT, OF CYLINDERS CONTAINING COMPRESSED AND/OR LIQUEFIED NATURAL GASES IS PROHIBITED.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

The Vatra City Hall informs residents that, in accordance with the amendments to Law No. 75/2015 on Housing, starting November 10, 2026, the use, storage, and placement of cylinders containing compressed and/or liquefied natural gas are prohibited in the following areas:

  • Apartments and residential premises;

  • Balconies and loggias;

  • Terraces;

  • Common areas;

  • Attics, basements, semi-basement floors, and technical floors;

  • Extensions of residential buildings and dormitories.

This measure aims to improve residential safety and prevent situations that may endanger the lives and health of residents.

We also inform you that violations of these provisions may result in civil, administrative, or criminal liability in accordance with applicable legislation.

We urge all residents to act responsibly and comply with the applicable legal requirements.
